Job Summary:
The Office of Financial Stability was established at the Department of the Treasury under the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008. The mission of the Office is to improve financial market liquidity and promote market stability through implementation and management of the new Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP).

Major Duties:
As an Oversight Liaison Coordinator, at the full performance level, performs the following duties:
- Manages information from and to the oversight bodies.
- Manages document repository on SharePoint and shared network drive.
- Generates ad hoc and routine reports regarding oversight bodies' requests, audits, reports, and recommendations and OFS's implementation of those recommendations.
- Prepares and analyzes internal management metrics.
- Assists in collecting and compiling information from OFS and Treasury personnel in response to oversight requests and reports.
- Tracks responses and implementation of audit recommendations using Treasury's audit tracking system.
- Develops working knowledge of TARP programs and respective OFS officials.
- Provides project support to oversight liaison staff as needed.
- Collaborates with other Treasury offices to direct oversight issues to the appropriate channels for analysis and resolution, and consults with the OFS Chief Counsel, as needed, to resolve legal issues.
Qualifications:
Specialized experience for the GS-09: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service, which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position can be gained in either the public or private sector. Specialized experience for this grade level is defined as: Knowledge and experience managing financial data/document information; Strong research and analytical skills used to compile data and assist higher-level employees in the preparation of reports for oversight and or regulatory authorities.
OR
Education (attach copy of transcript or list of college courses designating semester or quarter hours earned to ensure proper credit): Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B. OR J.D., if related.
Specialized experience for the GS-11: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service, which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
